What are metal stud partitions?
Metal stud partitions are non-loadbearing internal walls made from metal tracks and upright studs, with plasterboard fixed to the frame. The space within the wall can accommodate insulation and building services.
What is it used for?
They divide larger spaces into rooms, corridors and shared areas. Different combinations of framing, boards and insulation suit different uses; acoustic and fire performance depend on the complete specified wall system.
What the work involves.
We set out and form partitions to the agreed layout, coordinating door openings, junctions, service routes and any required support for fixtures before the walls are closed.
