What is plasterboarding?
Plasterboarding is the installation of plasterboard to walls, ceilings or wall-lining systems. It closes the framework and creates an even background for the chosen finish, such as skimming or tape and jointing.
What is it used for?
Board types and layers are selected for the intended use, including areas with particular moisture, impact, acoustic or fire requirements. Those properties depend on the full construction and its specification, rather than the board alone.
What the work involves.
We fit the specified boards and coordinate openings, edges and junctions. Services and insulation need to be ready before areas are closed, so we plan the sequence with the site team.
