Tape & Jointing

The finishing detail between every board.

What is tape & jointing?

Tape and jointing uses jointing tape and compound to finish plasterboard joints, corners and fixing points. The compound is blended into the surrounding surface to prepare the lining for its specified decorative finish.

What is it used for?

It is an alternative to a full plaster skim where the board system and finish allow. It helps create a consistent surface across individual boards, with preparation and priming completed to suit the decoration system.

What the work involves.

We carry out tape and jointing to walls and ceilings, including communal areas, corners and openings. We also discuss takeover and completion packages where finishing work is already underway.
